Emperor Zhaozong of Tang

867–904 · 9th century · Also known as Li Ye

Emperor Zhaozong of Tang reigned from 888 to 904 as the dynasty collapsed among rival warlords. Li Maozhen, Prince of Qi, held him at Fengxiang until Zhu Wen's siege forced his handover in 903. Zhu Wen moved him to Luoyang and had him murdered in 904, before ending the Tang in 907.
