Luoyang

Luoyang is a city in the Yellow River valley of central China and one of China's ancient capitals. Under the Tang Dynasty it served as the eastern capital alongside Chang'an. Both cities were sacked during the Huang Chao Rebellion of 874 to 884, a blow from which Tang central government never recovered.
