Escaldes-Engordany
Escaldes-Engordany is the seventh and newest parish of Andorra, separated from Andorra la Vella in 1978, with which it forms one continuous town. Its name refers to the hot springs that made it a spa resort, today centred on the Caldea thermal complex, and it is a major shopping district. The parish includes part of the Madriu-Perafita-Claror Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
