Firozpur Jhirka
Firozpur Jhirka is a town in the Mewat region south of Delhi, now in Haryana. In 1806 the British granted it to Ahmad Bakhsh Khan, the founder of Loharu State, as a reward for his service in the war of 1803. His son Shamsuddin Ahmad Khan was hanged in 1835 for arranging the murder of the British Resident William Fraser, and Firozpur Jhirka was confiscated.
