fl. c. 1000 · 11th century

García Ramírez was a king of Viguera, a small Rioja kingdom held by a branch of the royal house of Pamplona. A son of Ramiro Garcés, the first king of Viguera, he appears with his brother Sancho Ramírez in charters bearing the royal title. Little else is recorded of him, and after his line died out Viguera returned to Navarre.
