Gardman
Gardman was a district of Caucasian Albania in the hills west of the Kura river, in present-day western Azerbaijan. In the late 6th century it became the domain of the Mihranids, a branch of a great Parthian noble family, who made it the base from which they ruled Albania as princes in the 7th and 8th centuries. Its stronghold is mentioned in the History of the Albanians.
