George IV of Georgia
George IV, known as Lasha Giorgi, was king of Georgia from 1213 to 1223, the son of Queen Tamar. He continued his mother's wars against neighbouring Muslim rulers and planned to join the Fifth Crusade, but in 1221 a Mongol force under Jebe and Subutai defeated him at Khunan. He died in 1223, reportedly of wounds received in the fighting.
