House of Keys
The House of Keys is the elected lower house of Tynwald, the parliament of the Isle of Man, with 24 members. It claims descent from the assembly of the Norse kingdom of Mann and the Isles, making Tynwald one of the oldest continuous parliaments in the world. It became directly elected in 1867, and in 1881 the island gave some women the vote in its elections.
