Hulun Lake

Also known as Hulun Nur, Dalai Nur

Hulun Lake is a large lake in Hulunbuir, in north-eastern Inner Mongolia, China, and one of the country's largest freshwater lakes. Fed by the Kherlen and Orshuun rivers, it lies in grasslands that were home to the medieval Tatars and other steppe peoples, and it gave the region of Hulunbuir part of its name. The lake and its wetlands are a protected nature reserve.
