Kauthara
Kauthara was one of the principal regions of Champa, around modern Nha Trang in south-central Vietnam. Its chief sanctuary was the Po Nagar temple, dedicated to the goddess Yan Po Nagar, whose inscriptions go back to the 8th century. The region was lost to the Vietnamese Nguyễn lords in 1653.
