Khun Lo
Khun Lo is the legendary founder of the ruling line of Muang Sua, the town that became Luang Prabang. Lao chronicles describe him as the eldest son of Khun Borom, who took the town from its earlier inhabitants, traditionally in the 8th century. Fa Ngum, founder of the kingdom of Lan Xang in the 14th century, claimed descent from him.
