Killarney

Killarney is a town in County Kerry in south-west Ireland, beside Lough Leane and the lakes and mountains of Killarney National Park. The surrounding district was the early medieval centre of the Eóganacht Locha Léin kings of Iarmumu, with the monastery of Inisfallen and later Ross Castle. It grew into a tourist resort from the 18th century.
