Kitab-i Diyarbakriyya
The Kitab-i Diyarbakriyya is a Persian chronicle of the Aq Qoyunlu dynasty written by Abu Bakr Tihrani for Uzun Hasan in the later fifteenth century. It recounts the rise of the Bayandur Turkmen princes from their base around Diyarbakır and supports their legitimacy with a genealogy reaching back to Oghuz Khan, the legendary ancestor of the Turkmens. It is the most important narrative source for early Aq Qoyunlu history.
