La Graufesenque

La Graufesenque is an archaeological site near Millau in southern France, the remains of the Roman pottery centre of Condatomagus. In the 1st century CE its workshops produced vast quantities of red-gloss terra sigillata pottery, exported across the Roman world from Britain to India. Kiln records listing the potters' firings survive on fragments.
