Millau

Millau is a town in the Aveyron department of southern France, on the Tarn River. In Roman times the nearby workshops of La Graufesenque made red-gloss pottery exported across the empire, and the town later became a centre of glove-making. The Millau Viaduct, among the tallest bridges in the world, opened nearby in 2004.
