Laba River
The Laba is a river of the north-western Caucasus, a left tributary of the Kuban about 210 kilometres long, formed by the Greater and Lesser Laba, which rise on the slopes of the Main Caucasus Range. Its valley was home to Circassian tribes such as the Temirgoy, Hatuqwai and Besleney, and in the 19th century it formed part of Russia's fortified Caucasian line.
