Lake Yaxha
Lake Yaxha is a lake in the Petén department of northern Guatemala. The Maya city of Yaxha, one of the largest Classic sites of the region, stands on a ridge along its northern shore, and the Postclassic island site of Topoxte lies in the lake. Both are protected within the Yaxha–Nakum–Naranjo National Park.
