Also known as Lazarevskoe

Lazarevskoye is a resort settlement on the Black Sea coast of Russia, now part of the city of Sochi in Krasnodar Krai. It grew from a Russian fort founded in 1839 during the conquest of the Circassian coast and named after Admiral Mikhail Lazarev. The surrounding district is home to the last Shapsug Circassian villages on the coast.
