Person
Lê Thái Tông
Lê Thái Tông was emperor of Vietnam of the Later Lê dynasty from 1433 to 1442, succeeding his father Lê Lợi as a boy. He died suddenly in 1442 after visiting the estate of the scholar Nguyễn Trãi, who was blamed and executed with his family, a case later recognised as an injustice.
