Lichfield
Lichfield is a cathedral city in Staffordshire, England. Chad established the seat of the Mercian bishops there in 669, and under King Offa it was briefly an archbishopric, from 787 to 803. Its three-spired medieval cathedral holds the 8th-century Lichfield Angel and Lichfield Gospels, and the Staffordshire Hoard was found nearby in 2009.
