Lidzbark Warmiński
Lidzbark Warmiński (German Heilsberg) is a town in north-eastern Poland. Its brick Gothic castle, built in the 14th century, was the residence of the prince-bishops of Warmia for more than four centuries, until the region passed to Prussia in 1772. Among those who lived there were the young Nicolaus Copernicus, as secretary to his uncle Bishop Lucas Watzenrode, and the poet-bishop Ignacy Krasicki.
