Llotja de la Seda
The Llotja de la Seda, or Silk Exchange, in Valencia is a late Gothic merchants' exchange whose great hall of twisted columns was built in 1482–1498 under the master Pere Compte, with later wings completed by 1533. It housed the trade in silk and other goods when Valencia was the richest city of the Crown of Aragon. It has been a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1996.
