Malavikagnimitram

Malavikagnimitram is a Sanskrit play by Kalidasa, probably the earliest of his three surviving dramas. Set at the court of the Shunga king Agnimitra in Vidisha, it is a court comedy about the king's love for Malavika, a maid of the queen who proves to be a princess. It also mentions a war against Vidarbha and Pushyamitra's horse sacrifice.
