Mbuji-Mayi River

The Mbuji-Mayi River is a river of the southern Kasai region of the Democratic Republic of the Congo and a tributary of the Lubilash, the upper Sankuru. Rich diamond deposits along its course gave rise to the city of Mbuji-Mayi, named after it. The Kanyok people lived between it and the Lubilash.
