Morlaàs

Morlaàs is a small town north-east of Pau in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques department of south-western France. In the 11th and 12th centuries it was the capital of the viscounts of Béarn, whose mint there struck the widely circulated Morlaàs pennies, and its church of Sainte-Foy has a notable Romanesque portal.
