Morlaix
Morlaix is a port town in Finistère, north-western Brittany, at the head of a long estuary opening onto the English Channel. In the late Middle Ages and early modern period it prospered from the trade in linen cloth with England and Spain, and in 1522 it was sacked by an English raid. A large railway viaduct, built in the 1860s, dominates the town.
