Nabonidus Chronicle

The Nabonidus Chronicle is an ancient Babylonian cuneiform text recording the reign of Nabonidus, last king of the Chaldean Empire, and the Persian conquest of Babylon. It notes repeated years in which the New Year festival was not held because the king was absent. It is a key source for the decline of the Chaldean Empire.
