Nalerigu
Nalerigu is a town in northern Ghana, capital of the North East Region and the seat of the Nayiri, paramount chief of the Mamprusi. The Mamprugu court moved there from Gambaga around 1700 under Na Atabia. Parts of an old defensive wall attributed to an earlier ruler, Na Jeringa, still survive around the town.
