Nao Chi

d. 284 BCE · 3rd century BCE

Nao Chi was a general of the State of Chu during the Warring States period. In 284 BCE, when a coalition led by Yue Yi of Yan overran Qi, Chu sent him with an army nominally to help King Min of Qi, who made him chief minister. Nao Chi instead had King Min killed at Ju, and was himself killed soon afterwards by the Qi loyalist Wangsun Jia.
