Naser Khan Qashqai
Naser Khan Qashqai was paramount chief (ilkhan) of the Qashqai confederation of southern Iran in the mid-20th century, the eldest son of Ismail Khan Solat al-Dowleh, who died in prison under Reza Shah. After Reza Shah's abdication in 1941 he returned to the tribe and, with his brother Khosrow Khan, restored Qashqai power. The brothers backed Mohammad Mosaddegh and went into exile after the 1953 coup, returning only after the revolution of 1979.
