Nij
Nij is a large village in the Qabala district of northern Azerbaijan and the main centre of the Udi people. Their language, Udi, belongs to the Lezgic group and is the descendant of the language of Caucasian Albania, which scholars were able to read through comparison with it. The village's Christian Udi community preserves churches associated with the old Albanian church.
