Nsheng
Nsheng, also known as Mushenge, is the royal capital of the Kuba kingdom in the Kasai region of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. As the seat of the king, or nyimi, and his council of titled officials, it was a centre of Kuba art, including carved royal statues, masks and raffia cloth. Zappo Zap raiders serving the Congo Free State sacked it in 1899, but it remains the residence of the Kuba king.
