Oyapock River

The Oyapock is a river of northern South America that forms most of the border between French Guiana and the Brazilian state of Amapá, flowing about 400 km to the Atlantic. France claimed land as far south as the Araguari, but Swiss arbitration in 1900 fixed the boundary on the Oyapock. A bridge across it, opened in 2017, links the two countries.
