Qu Wuchen

Qu Wuchen, also called Wuchen of Shen, was a noble of the State of Chu who fled to the State of Jin around 589 BCE, taking with him the famous beauty Xia Ji. After Chu destroyed his clan, he went to the State of Wu as an envoy of Jin and taught its people chariot warfare and archery, turning Wu into a threat on Chu's eastern flank.
