Raja Kuning
Raja Kuning, 'the Yellow Queen', was the last of the four queens who ruled the Malay sultanate of Pattani in succession, reigning from 1635. A daughter of Raja Ungu, she made peace with Siam, which had attacked Pattani under her mother, and kept up its trade. The age of the queens, which ended in the mid-17th century, is remembered as Pattani's golden age.
