Rhenia

Also known as Rheneia

Rhenia is an uninhabited Greek island in the Cyclades, just west of Delos. Polycrates of Samos captured it in the sixth century BCE and dedicated it to Apollo, binding it to Delos with a chain. After the Athenian purification of Delos in 426 BCE, births and burials were forbidden on the sacred island and graves were moved to Rhenia, which served as its cemetery.
