Apollo
Apollo is a major god of Greek and Roman religion, son of Zeus and Leto and twin brother of Artemis. He was god of prophecy, music, healing, archery and light, and his oracles at Delphi, Didyma and Claros were consulted by cities and kings across the Greek world. Many colonies were founded on his oracle's advice, and several, such as Apollonia, were named after him.
