Ribera Navarra
The Ribera Navarra is the southern lowland region of Navarre along the river Ebro and its tributaries, centred on the city of Tudela. Hot and dry compared with the mountain valleys of the north, it depends on irrigation, much of it inherited from the Muslim period, and is known for grain, wine, olive oil and vegetables, especially asparagus and artichokes.
