Seventh Dynasty of Egypt
The Seventh Dynasty of Egypt is a dynasty listed by the historian Manetho, who described it as 'seventy kings in seventy days' at Memphis after the end of the Old Kingdom. Modern scholars generally regard it as fictitious, perhaps an echo of the confusion of the period, and count the kings once assigned to it with the Eighth Dynasty, around 2181–2160 BCE.
