Shimajiri Ōzato Castle
Shimajiri Ōzato Castle is a ruined gusuku, or stone castle, in Nanjō in the south of Okinawa Island, Japan. It is traditionally regarded as the seat of the kings of Nanzan, the southern of the three kingdoms that divided Okinawa in the 14th century, before Shō Hashi conquered it in 1429. Parts of its limestone walls survive on a hill overlooking the coast.
