Ming Empire
The Ming Empire was the Chinese dynasty founded by Zhu Yuanzhang in 1368 after the expulsion of the Yuan Dynasty. It rebuilt the Great Wall, launched the treasure voyages of Zheng He and became a centre of global silver trade. It fell in 1644 to rebellion and the Manchu conquest, which founded the Qing Empire.
