Shukkeien

Shukkeien is a Japanese landscape garden in Hiroshima, begun in 1620 for Asano Nagaakira, the first Asano lord of the Hiroshima domain, by his tea master Ueda Sōko. Its name means 'shrunken-scenery garden', as it recreates famous landscapes in miniature around a central pond. It was destroyed by the atomic bomb in 1945 and later restored.
