Sulis Minerva

Sulis Minerva was the goddess worshipped at the hot springs of Aquae Sulis, modern Bath, in Roman Britain. She combined the local Celtic goddess Sulis with the Roman Minerva, and a temple and bath complex were built around her spring from the late first century CE. About 130 curse tablets addressed to her, most of them asking for the punishment of thieves, have been recovered from the sacred spring.
