Sunjong of Korea
Sunjong of Korea was the second and last emperor of the Korean Empire, reigning from 1907 to 1910 under the era name Yunghui. He came to the throne when Japan forced his father Gojong to abdicate after the Hague envoy affair, and his reign saw the disbanding of the Korean army and the annexation treaty of 1910. He lived on under Japanese rule until his death in 1926, and his funeral prompted the June 10th Movement protests.
