Tarik Sulayman

d. 1571 · 16th century

Tarik Sulayman was a chief of Macabebe in Pampanga, in the Philippines, who led a coalition fleet against the Spanish at Manila in 1571. Spanish accounts describe him only as the young chief of Macabebe. He was killed when Martín de Goiti's forces defeated the fleet at the Battle of Bangkusay Channel on 3 June 1571, and he is often confused with Rajah Sulayman of Manila.
