Manila
Manila is the capital of the Philippines, on Manila Bay in Luzon. The Spanish established it as the colonial capital of the Philippines in 1571. It became the Asian terminus of the Manila galleon trade, linking Spanish America to China and making Manila a centre of the Spanish Empire's Pacific commerce.
