Thomas II Zaremba
Thomas II Zaremba (d. 1292) was Bishop of Wrocław from 1270. He fought a long dispute with Duke Henry IV Probus of Silesia over the rights and property of the Church, during which he was besieged in Racibórz and the duke was excommunicated. In 1290 the duke reconciled with him and granted the bishops full princely rights in the lands of Nysa and Otmuchów, creating the episcopal duchy.
