Tian Heng

d. 202 BCE · 3rd century BCE

Tian Heng (died 202 BCE) was a member of the royal house of the old state of Qi who, after the fall of Qin, made himself and his relatives kings of Qi and fought both Xiang Yu and Liu Bang. After Han Xin conquered Qi he fled to an island with some 500 followers. Summoned by Liu Bang, now emperor, he killed himself rather than submit, and his followers did the same.
