Tishpak

Also known as Tišpak

Tishpak was the city god of Eshnunna in the Diyala region of Mesopotamia, replacing the earlier god Ninazu in the later third millennium BCE. A warrior god associated with the snake-dragon mushhushshu, he was regarded as the true king of the city, and its rulers styled themselves his governors before they claimed the royal title themselves.
