Titus Tatius

Titus Tatius was, in Roman legend, the king of the Sabine town of Cures who made war on Rome after the abduction of the Sabine women. When the women intervened to end the fighting, he and Romulus agreed to rule jointly over a united people. Tradition says he was killed a few years later at Lavinium, leaving Romulus sole king.
